Misty Lin Stephens, age 27, of Orange, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas after her long and hard fight with cancer.

Misty was born on March 7, 1986 in Galveston, Texas to parents Sandra Gail (Hanner) and Joseph Wayne Stephens Jr.

She had lived in Vidor, Texas, Deweyville, Texas and the last 7 years in Orange, Texas and she was of the Baptist Faith. She was employed at Robert's Meat Market for several years as a hostess, cashier and waitress. Misty enjoyed doing crafts, taking picture, being outdoors and listening to music. Misty was a loving person who loved spending time with her fiancé and her nieces.

She was preceded death by her mother, Sandra Gail Stephens and her brother, Joseph Wayne Stephens III (FAG mem 83862939).

Misty is survived by her fiancé, Joseph William Honkomp of Orange, her father, Joseph Wayne Stephens, Jr. of Orange, her sister, Tisha Stephens and husband, Jacob Stephenson of Orange, nieces, Ava and Ellie Stephenson, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 6pm until 9pm at Dorman Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 2pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Dorman Cemetery in Orange.
