Richard Lee Billings, a resident of Sulphur was born July 26, 1942 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Robert Lee & Jane (Knight) Billings. He passed away Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years 8 months and 7 days. He was married to Davalyn (McClure) Billings at Sulphur, Ok on February 5, 1966. Richard had lived in Sulphur all his life, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1960. He owned and operated the DX and later the Texaco Service Stations.
He later worked for Murray County. Richard loved being with his family,
especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Crossway First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters: Lila Pirtle and Nancy Thompson.

Survived by his Wife: Davalyn of Sulphur, Daughter & son-in-law: Sheila & James Ketchum
of Lone Grove, Son & daughter-in-law: Craig & Courtni Billings of Sulphur.
Grandchildren: Logan & Alivia Ketchum and Ashton & Leighton Billings,
Sister & brother-in-law: Patsy & Don McCracken of Sulphur,
Mother-in-law & Father-in-law, Melva & David McClure of Sulphur.

Pallbearers will be Pete Haines, Terry Laxton, Kirk Limke, Larry McClure, Jim McClure, Don McCracken, and Ashton Billings.
Honorary Bearers: Allen Butch Hill, Lloyd Krein, Harold Gentry, Dick Gallemore, Jim Beaver and Charles Glen Leming.

Services will be held April 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Crossway First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bill Leveridge and assisted by Rev. Randy Wade and Kirk Limke. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home
