(WADLEY) Funeral services for Nonnie Lee Hill, 70, of Wadley were Sunday, July 9, 2006, at 3 p.m. at Mountain Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tim Whaley and the Rev. Ken Griffith officiating. Burial was in the adjoining
cemetery.
Mrs. Hill died Friday, July 7, at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Marie Bennett of Wadley and Patricia Ann Griffith of New Site; two sons, Billy Hill of Alexander City and Chris Hill of Wadley; one sister, Faye Harmon of Munford; one brother, William Clegg of Wadley; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Welch, Benny Yates, Gary Clark, Paul Kirk, Edwin Hodnett and Craig Brown.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Gideons International Memorial Bible Program, c/o Ralph C. Davis, 1094 County Rd. 684, Roanoke, AL 36274.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Hill was born June 14, 1936, daughter of William and Mattie Camp Clegg. She was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Hill.
