Mr. Jamie Benjamin Crews, 32, died suddenly Monday morning (April 1, 2013) at Mayo Clinic Health Systems of Waycross.

He was a native of Pierce County, but he has lived most of his life in Waycross. He was employed as a vault technician for Bailey Monument and Vault.

He is the son of the late Benjamin Leroy Moore.

Survivors include his fiancé, Brandy Renee Mixon of Waycross; two step-children, Harlie Bagley and Braydden Thomas both of Waycross; his mother, Pam Ammons Hendrix (husband Tony) of Waycross; three sisters, Alisha Lane (husband Junior), Paige Moore, and Logan Widner all of Brantley County; two brothers, Benjamin Moore and Jeremy Crews both of Brantley County; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday (April 7, 2013) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Hickox. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
