HAYSI, VA – Shirley Temple Looney Fuller, age 85 passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Grundy, VA. She was the daughter of the late William and Margie Coleman Looney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tom Fuller, sons AC and Keaster Fuller, daughter Amanda Martinez, granddaughter, Amber Fuller, and two sisters, Etta Gail Lambert and Sandy Mullins.
Shirley was a homemaker in the truest sense of the word. Everyone who came through her door was made to feel at home.
Survivors include one son, Doug (Laverne) Fuller, Danville, VA daughter, Sherry O'quinn, Haysi, VA and daughter-in-law, Vicki Deel Fuller, Haysi, VA, seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Five sisters, Wanda Jackson, Betsy Stiltner, Katie Peck, Terry Ankney and Georgia Arnold also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Haysi Funeral Home with Timothy Charlton officiating. Burial will follow in the O'quinn-Deel Cemetery, Greenbrier Road, Haysi, VA. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
