Sharon Mae (Johnson) Ragle, of Emory, Texas passed from this world on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in Emory, Texas. She was born in Abilene, Texas on August 25, 1949, to Walter Bartley and Bertha Mae (Betterton) Johnson. She was 63 years old at the time of her passing. Sharon attended Abilene High School. After high school she worked at several types of employment, however, being a homemaker and mother suited her best. Sharon was a member of County Line Baptist Church in Rains County.

Survivors include her children, grand and great-grandchildren, and siblings; Sons: Carey Wayne Rich (Melisa) of Houston, Jason Glenn Rich of Houston, Texas, Daughter: Shellie Renee Garces (Frank) of Orange Grove, Texas; Brother: Alton Johnson (Patricia) of Richardson, Texas; Sister: Dolores Walker (William) of Aguanga, California; Grandchildren: Ashley Garces, Frankie Garces IV, Matthew Garces, Jeremiah Garces, Pattie Crawford Rich, Jacob Rich, and Jeremiah Rich; Great-Grandchildren: Alecia Garces, Sophierose Garces, Carsyn Garces, Emery Garces and numerous other loving family and friends. At Sharon's request, she was cremated and the cremains buried beside her Mother and Father in the Garden of Peace in Elmwood Cemetery in Abilene, Texas. A memorial service and celebration of Sharon's life will be held at the grave site on April 6, 2013 at 3:00 PM under the direction of Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Dusty Garison officiating at the service. Friends and family are invited to attend.
