Harry Lyn Neal, 53, of Canton, N.C., formerly of Macon County passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at an Asheville Hospital. He was born in Macon County, the son of the late Harry Elmer and Bobbie Bracken Neal. He was a funeral director for Bryant Funeral Home.
He is survived by his son, Ian Alexander Neal of Franklin, N.C.; a grandson, Xander Austin Neal; his sister, Lisa Neal Hall and her husband Brian of Clover, S.C.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Greene officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Macon County Unit-Relay for Life, PO Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
