Jeremy "Nelly" L. Nelson, age 36 of North Branch died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
Jeremy was born on March 24, 1977 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. Jeremy attended schools in North Branch where he played football and baseball and graduated with the class of 1995.
Jeremy worked for Brown Shoes at the Tanger Mall while in high school and after high school he started working for Branch Manufacturing. He would later start a cleaning business that he worked at for a few years before returning to Branch Manufacturing where he worked as a press operator. Always being the business minded person he was he also started and continued to operate Nelly's Cab Service in North Branch.
Jeremy loved deer hunting, lifting weights, bowling as well as spending time grilling out and bonfires with his family and friends. His most important part in life was his family and especially his son, Dylan.
Jeremy is survived by his son, Dylan; parents, Jeff and Deb Nelson of North Branch; Paternal Grandparents, Marvin and Karen Nelson of North Branch and Beatrice Lendway of St. Croix Falls; his great uncle, Milton Johnson of North Branch and his girlfriend Miranda and her daughter Abigal Johnson as well as Ivan and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Satak and step grandfather, Gary Lendway; great grandparents, Margaret Smith, Mauritz and Clara Nelson, Herman Spriegl, Marian and Charles Satak.
