SHORT ILLNESS FROM PNEUMONIA IS FATAL
Mrs. Elizabeth Elliott expires at niece’s home
Born in Ashland County but came to Findlay in 1836--three children survive--funeral Tuesday.
Mrs. Elizabeth Elliott, 76 years old died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Elizabeth Harper, 1124 North Cory street at 9:45 o’clock Sunday evening. Death was caused by pneumonia from which she had suffered one week. She was confined to her bed four days.
Mrs. Elliott was born in Ashland county, April 4, 1836, having been born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stafford. She came to Findlay in 1895.
She was married twice. In 1857 she was united in marriage to Peter Wycoff who died 1863 in the Civil war. She was married in 1872 to Joshua Elliott, who passed away in 1904.
Six children were born, three of whom are dead. Those surviving are Elmer Wyckof, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Frank P. Elliott, Marion, O., George Elliott, Richwood, O.
She was a member of the Church of God of Findlay College.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning at the same. Dr. W. H. Guyer of the College will have charge. Interment will be at the Sargent cemetery near Portage, Wood county, OH
