She was born in Salt Lake City and lived in Salem for more than 30 years. She helped manage several restaurants with her husband, Arthur, whom she married in 1941. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed church activities, sewing, quilting and making pottery. Her husband died in 1981.
Survivors include her sons, Stan, Robert and Christopher, all of Salem, and Edward of Layton, Utah; daughters, Margie Avey of Arlington, Wash., Ruth Masters of Renton, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Holbrook Mortuary. Interment will be at Vernal City Cemetery.
