Helen G Jeffries Coady, died August 3, 2008. Born in Putnam, Connecticut on May 26, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Waligura) Glowa. She resided in and attended schools in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, moving to Mansfield in 1940. During WWII, she worked in Cleveland at Fisher Body riveting B-29's. Helen moved back to Mansfield and worked for Therm-O-Disc for 21 years, the last six as mail clerk. She then worked for Rainbow Products in Lexington for six years and Foto Fair for four years. In 1983, she retired at the age of 67 and became a full time homemaker. Helen was a member of Grace Episcopal Church since 1952.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Ralph) Lozier; two grandsons, Brian (Bonnie) Schulties of Ashland and Barry (Pam) Schulties of South Carolina; Three great-grandsons, Jason, Brent (Amy) and Nathan Schulties; one step great-grandson, Hunner; and a great, great granddaughter, Cassandra. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Coady on 4 April 1994.

In honoring Helen's wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 7 in the Mansfield Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 41 Bowman Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44903.
