Mrs. H. P. Hall, aged 58 years, died at her home in the Moorefield community last night at 7:30 o'clock, after an illness of several weeks, however, her illness did not become acute until several days ago. An operation was planned as a last resort to save her life, but death came before she could undergo the knife. Mrs. Hall was the daughter of Calvin Jackson and a native of Chambers county.
Funeral service will be held from the Milltown Baptist Church at 3 o'clock today, February 20th, and interment will be in the cemetery of that place.
Surviving the deceased are a husband, H. P. Hall; three grandchildren who they adopted when their only daughter died about six years ago in Roanoke. She is also survived by a brother, M. A. Jackson, of Lanett, besides several nieces and nephews in LaFayette and other parts of the county and state.
