Port Byron - Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar Ostrand, who died in Moline Lutheran hospital Thursday, will be held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church here with the Rev. Paul DuBois officiating. Elsie chapter. O.E. S., will conduct their ritual service at the church. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery. Mrs. Ostrand was born Nov. 2. 1865, at Brimfield and was married to Oscar Ostrand, Feb. 2, 1903. They have lived In Port Byron fourteen years. Mrs. Ostrand was a member of the Methodist church, a charter member of the W. S. C. S., a member of Elsie chapter, O. E.S., and the White Shrine of Rockford. Survivors are the husband, two daughters. Mrs. Anna Walk of Trenton, Mo., Mrs. Ada Mann, also of Trenton; one son, Fred Bertchman of Kirksville, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Virginia Bruhns, of Baraboo, Wis.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
