Edward G. Katterson
Edward G. Katterson, 70, of Hill Road, South Heights, died Monday, May 22, 2000, in his home following a lengthy bout with cancer.
Born May 26, 1930, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Lyman and Edith Berry Katterson, he was employed as a welder with the Dravo Corp., Neville Island, for 20 years.
Surviving are his former wife, Ann Marie Kuzma Katterson, Ambridge; two daughters, Melissa Ann Katterson, Ambridge, and Erica Lynn Papa, Oakdale; a granddaughter, Julia Ann Papa; two brothers, Lyman Katterson, Economy, and Robert Katterson, Ambridge, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Abiding by Mr. Katterson's wishes, there was no public visitation and his remains were cremated.
The John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
