Sandra "DeDe" Hall lost her courageous battle with liver cancer on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Jesus welcomed her to his eternal home in heaven. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Phil Jones of Birchman Baptist Church in Fort Worth officiating. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Sandy was born Oct. 15, 1941, in Fort Worth to Leroy and Dora Love Weatherred. Sandy had a love for birds, gardening, sunbathing, fellowshipping with her friends and family, and she was a loyal fan of Johnny High's Country Music Review. She had a way of showing graciousness and love to everyone she was around. Her bright blue eyes will shine in our hearts forever. We all know as believers this is a brief goodbye and we will join her in heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Dora Weatherred; husband, James Hall; grandson, Kyle Christopher Hall; and sister, Paula Wisdom. Survivors: Son, Chris Hall and wife, Robbin; sisters, Anita Foster and husband, Ned, and Joyce Wilkerson; several nieces; her faithful dog, Muffin; and a world of friends.
