Eloise J Peters, 80, passed away April 1, 2013 at McKay Dee Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born June 10, 1932 in Elkhart, IN, to Beatrice and Arnold Ray Mattix. She was the second of four girls. Her sisters were Francis, Shirley, and Janet.

Eloise graduated from Bristol High School in 1950. She attended Kansas City University 1950-1952, graduating with her Associates in Accounting.

Eloise served 3 years in the Air Force, 1956-1959; which is where she met her husband, Johnnie S Peters. They married on July 5, 1959.

She has four wonderful children: Johnnie (Christina) Peters of Portland, OR, Wesley (Dianne) Peters of Escondido, CA, Charles Eugene Peters deceased, and Linda Joyce Bright of Layton, UT. She also has four extraordinary grandchildren: Jennifer, Robert, Bailey, and Annika.

Eloise's entire life was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles (Gene) Peters.

We would like to extend our thanks to the staff at Crestwood Care Center and the doctors, nurses, and staff at McKay Dee Hospital for all of the time spent taking car of Eloise.

There will be a viewing Thursday at 6pm. Services will be held at 1pm Friday.

Arrangements entrusted to Myers Layton Mortuary.

Interment will be in Kaysville Cemetery following the funeral services at Myers Layton Mortuary.
