Miss Mittie Allen died early Wednesday morning at the residence of her niece, Mrs. Charles J. Haden, 1249 Peachtree street. Funeral services at the residence this (Thursday) morning at 10:30 o'clock. Drs. W. F. Glenn and James E. Dickey will officiate. The following named gentlemen will please act as pallbearers and assemble at Barclay & Brandon Co. at 10 o'clock: Mr. Robert A. Hemphill, Mr. Robert P. Clower, Mr. Thomas H. Clower, Mr. Fred Watt, Mr. C. H. Johnson and Mr. J. A. Hall. Interment in Oakland cemetery.
A second notice adds "Miss Allen was a sister of Mrs. Milledge L. Bates." [Emma] Buried in the Bates / Haden lot. She does not have a marker.
