Mr. McNinch was born on Jan. 12, 1909 in Amboy, the son of Edward and Elsie Lovering McNinch. He was employed as a millrite at Northwestern Steel & Wire Company for over 35 years, retiring on March 1, 1973. He was a former elder of the Rock Falls Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mae T. McNinch of Rock Falls; two sons, Delmar McNinch of Rock Falls and Doran McNinch of South Pekin; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Sylvia) Snow of Sterling; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several step grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Kermit (Alice) Friedlein of Mendota, Mrs. Helen Miller of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Stanley (Elsie) Herbon of Rock Falls and Mrs. Kenneth (Marjorie) Haas of Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
