OAKLAND CITY-----Wanda W Barrett Ramach, 77, died, Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at 10 a.m. at her home in Oakland City. Mrs Ramach was born on November 1, 1921 in Pike County to William and Thelda F Drew Barrett. She retired as a cosmetologist after 40 years of service. Mrs Ramach was a member of the American Legion Post #256 Auxiliary for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Denver Curtis Barrett. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Eugene Ramach; one daughter, Marlene Besing of Oakland City; four grandsons, Victor Besing and Kelly Besing, both of Oakland City; Jeff Besing of Mt Carmel, IL; and Michael Lenart of Everett, WA; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two brothers, Thomas Lee Barrett of Winslow and Sheldon Ray Barrett of Russell Springs, KY; and two sisters, Hyla Wathen of Tawas City, MI and Thelma Jean Austin of Winslow. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday, February 5 and from 9 a.m. until services on Saturday at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Martin Cemetery at Littles.
