Mrs. Mary Dunning

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Dunning of Elmira, a former resident of Oneonta and Milford, will be held this afternoon at 2 from the Milford Presbyterian church. Interment will be at Milford. Rev. C.F. Fraser and Rev. A.B. Judson will conduct the services.

Mrs. Dunning who died in Elmira early Tuesday afternoon, was born Oct. 11, 1877, in Kent, England, a daughter of Richard and Rebecca (Tamsett) Baker. She came to the United States at the age of seven and resided in the vicinity of Oneonta and Milford until two years ago, when she moved to Elmira. Her husband, Frank Dunning, died at Milford about four years ago. She was a member of the Elmira Presbyterian church and a former member of the Milford Presbyterian church.

She is survived by one brother, William R. Baker of 38 West Broadway, Oneonta; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Blanchard, town of Oneonta, and Mrs. James H. White, Binghamton, and several nephews, nieces and cousins.["Oneonta Daily Star, Page 6, Oneonta, Otsego, New York, September 22, 1938."]
