"Mrs. Maggie L. Casner, 93
Services for Mrs. Maggie Leona Casner, 93, of Parsons, who died on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Decatur County Manor, were held on Monday, June 18 at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
A native of Pleasantville, Mrs. Casner was the wife of the late Robert Cross and then the late Hollis Casner, and the daughter of the late William Thomas and Ollie Mae Ayers Qualls. She was a homemaker, a former employee of Hickman County Nursing Home and NoCoMe Camp and a member of Upper Sinking Church of Christ.
She leaves her daughter, Jewel Stricklin of Parsons; her son, William Cross of Pleasantville; her sister, Leora Williams of Pleasantville; her brother, Raymond Qualls of Sparta; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Lawrence Cross and Thomas Cross, and three brothers, David Qualls, Edward Qualls and Cornelius Qualls.
The funeral service waa conducted by Bro. Bill McDonald and was followed by burial in Qualls Cemetery in Pleasantville." (end transcription- hmh)
