Death of Mrs. Sarah W. Conant
Mrs. Sarah Wells Conant, 75, died early on Thursday morning at the home of her son, F. W. Conant. She was born in Greenfield, the daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth Wells, and had lived the greater part of her life in Greenfield and Colrain. She was married to Frederick D. Conant of Greenfield, November 18, 1860. Mr. Conant died in 1889. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William O. Holden of Pawtucket, R. I., who has been with her mother though a long and tedious illness and a son, Frederick W. Conant of this town. There was a prayer at the house Sunday morning at 10 0'clock and services at the Second Congregational church in Greenfield with burial in Green river cemetery in that town.
