Jack G. Altizer, age 75, of Richlands, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands, Virginia. He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of the late Bud and Eula Lowe Altizer. He was a class of 1955 graduate of Richlands High School. Jack was the owner and operator of Dominion Supply, Inc. in Richlands, Virginia for over 30 years. He was a Deacon and member of Hill Creek Baptist Church and was a lifelong resident of the area. Jack will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jack Gregory Altizer and one brother, Joe Bill Altizer.

Funeral services for Jack G. Altizer will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Fletcher and Rev. Tex Sawyers officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Virginia. Caleb Altizer, Samuel Brown, Raymond Johnson, Joe Rose, Randall Hill, John Buskill, Pete Altizer, Harold Pyles, Joey Altizer, John Altizer, and Jeremy Altizer will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be: John Taylor, Ken Wysor, Donnie Wade, Deacons and Men of the Hill Creek Baptist Church, and Former Employees, Friends, and Customers at Dominion Supply.
