He was born in Virginia, but has been living near the Paper Mill since childhood. He had been in the employ of the Antietam Paper Co. for over fifty years and was esteemed by all who knew him. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by the following children; Daughters, Mrs. B. Frank Favorite and Mrs. Harry Martin, this city; Mrs. William Deibert, near this city; sons, Robert, Waynesboro, Pa., and Frederick, of Philadelphia. Two brothers, Luther and William, both of this city, also survive.
Funeral Tuesday afternoon, services at Church of the Brethren by Rev. A.R. Miller and Elder W. S. Reichard. Interment in Rose Hill.
