Mrs. Mary Rebecca Anderson Maute, 86, of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of High Point, NC, died Saturday, March 30, 2013.
Mary was born May 5, 1926 to the late Ralph Walker Anderson and Rosa Compton Anderson. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Maute, son, Richard Maute, daughter, Linda Button, brother, Quintin Anderson, and sister Virginia Anderson Morgan. She is survived by brothers, Ray Anderson of High Point, Ralph Anderson of Long Island, NY, Clyde Anderson of Rock Hill, SC; a sister, Faye Dale of High Point; grandchildren, Robert Button and Joann Joyner and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 6th, 2013 at Guilford Memorial Park, with Rev. Roger Carmichael officiating. Memorials may be made to The Shriner's Children's Hospital, PO Box 560666, Charlotte, NC 28256.
