Daughter of Julius C. Bradley and Mary Elizabeth Carle of Macedonia area. She was one of 8 children. (The "1882 History of Pottawattamie County, Iowa" puts the family arriving in that county on Feb. 22, 1876. The Return of Marriage also lists her born in the county)She married Sherman Jasper Gonser son of Mary Ann Hulick(Gulick family)and Samuel Gonser on 24 Dec. 1899, near Macedonia. A.C. Downing, pastor of the Church of Christ, performed the ceremony. On 4 Apr. 1901, their only daughter, Nora Cleone Gonser-Hale was born. Nora Geneva later died of complications of childbirth, 7 days after the birth of her daughter. (Her daughter and sister Roxie Bradley Roberson, name her date of death as 11 Apr. but the county Death Certificate list it as 12 Apr. 1901.

"Nora Bradley was born May 30th 1878 in this
county and died April 11, 1901, aged 22 years, 10 months and 11 days.
She was married to Sherman Jasper Gonser, Dec. 24, 1899.
She leaves a husband and one child, a father, mother, four sisters and two brothers to morn her loss.
At the age of 16 she united with the church of Christ at Lone Star and was a faithful worker up to the time of her death. For two and one half years she served as Superintendent of the Lone Star Christian Sunday School. A short time before her death she sang two verses, in a clear tone of Nearer my God to Thee. A large congregation of friends and neighbors attended the funeral at the M. E. church Saturday at 2:00 o'clock p.m. The services were conducted by Rev. Green of Oakland assisted by Rev. Chambers of the M. E. church here. The stricken husband and child as well as brothers and sisters of the deceased have the profound sympathy of the entire community."
Her daughter moved to Colorado and married William Marion Hale Sr. They had 6 children.
Sherman Jasper and his second wife, Stella Stewart Gonser had no children of their own. They are buried in the Littleton, Colorado cemetery.
