Survivors include his wife, Oneida Perkins Powers; one daughter, Patti Powers; and one son, Kenny Powers.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday at St. John's Church in Brandenburg. Burial follows in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
