Craig was born on June 2, 1952 in Panguitch, Utah to LaRen Quilter and LaNita Stout.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Sherry of 39 years, his children, Steven (Courtney), Jeremy, Jennifer (Creighton) and Brett, 14 wonderful grand-children, his step-father (who raised him) Ernest Myers, his step-mother Emma Myers, and his siblings.
Craig married the love of his life, Sherry Alban, in 1974. Their marriage was the epitome of love and sacrifice. In 1975 they were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Oakland Temple.
Craig was a man of great faith, character and courage. His favorite roles were those of loving husband, father and grandfather. His grandchildren could always count on him to let them help in his garden, give rides on the lawnmower and to share his Cheetos.
He worked along-side Ernie and Dale as Myers & Sons Contractors. He was an active member and priesthood holder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Craig was a man of many talents, some of which are photography, music and wood-working. His hobbies included flying, water skiing, camping, gardening, playing with grandchildren and shopping with his beautiful wife. One of his favorite pastimes was quietly contemplating the beauties of nature and taught his children and grandchildren to do the same.
