Retired businessman and cattle-farmer "Cuz" Womack, 77 of Mendenhall, MS, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 - 9:00pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 2:00pm at Colonial Chapel in Magee, MS. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nannie Belle Womack. Two daughters: Ellen Womack Giles (Michael), Mendenhall, MS and Susan Womack Holston (Scott), Florence, MS

Grandsons: Clayton and Creston Gilesand Granddaughter: Savanna Holston. And a twin sister Kathleen May of Magee.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to: The Baptist Children's Village.

Retired businessman and cattle-farmer Albert Eugene "Cuz" Womack passed away April 1, 2013, at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation was Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Colonial Chapel Magee with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Cuz was born in Simpson County to James Albert and Pearl Gregory Womack on August 14, 1935. He is survived by a twin sister, Kathleen May of Magee. He married Nannie Belle Broocks on March 23, 1957. They had two daughters, Ellen Womack Giles (Michael) and Susan Womack Holston (Scott).

In the early 1960's he started M&W Commercial Builders. For the next 25 years he spent much of his time building buildings in Hinds, Madison, and Rankin counties. He worked hard and loved the men who worked for him.

In 1976, he purchased a farm and returned to Simpson County. He enjoyed working with cattle, fishing, and farming. He shared this love with two grandsons, Clayton and Creston Giles, and a granddaughter, Savanna Holston. He has spent his retirement years enjoying drinking coffee and shooting the breeze with his friends.
