Sarah E Norris age 65, long time Tucumcari NM resident passed away unexpectedly on Sunday night, March 31, 2013 in Tucumcari NM. Sarah was born October 2, 1947 in Santa Fe NM. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tucumcari. She attended and graduated from the Tucumcari High School. Many will remember her working at the Tucumcari Municipal Golf Coarse.
Surviving Sarah is her husband James W. Norris of Tucumcari. Her children- Jenny Thedford and husband Kevin of Grandprarie, TX, Judy Wilcox and husband Rusty of Ruidoso, NM and J.W. Norris and wife Joanie of Amarillo, TX. Her mother Sarah E. Miles of Tucumcari. Her siblings - Jim Miles of Brighton, CO, Jenny Flinn and husband Albert of Portales, NM and Vae Peck and husband Jim of Santa Fe, NM. Grandchildren - Shelbie Spencer, Caden and Landri Wilcox, Tres and Jace Norris. She was preceded in death by her father J. Wade Miles and by a grandson Grady Wade Henson.
Services celebrating her life will be Friday afternoon April 5th, 2013, in the First Baptist Church beginning at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
