Janet Marie Phelps, 57, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at the Covenant Lakeside Hospital in Lubbock. She was born November 24, 1945, in Lincoln, Ill. She was a social worker and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, John Phelps of Fort Hood and Andrew Phelps of Odessa; daughter, Christina Halfacre and husband, Danny, of Odessa; sister, Marcia Lindsey and husband, Jay, of Odessa; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003, at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Thomason officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
