Betty Cory, 90, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away Tuesday, November 24. She was born November 23, 1919 to Ira and Edna Wyant in Columbus, OH. She and Mr. Cory lived in El Centro for 30+ years where they retired from managing Woolworth's. The Corys were active members of the First United Methodist Church while living in El Centro. Betty will be remembered for sending inspirational notes to all she knew and being a ray of sunshine always. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chet; son, David; four sisters and one brother. Betty is survived by daughters, Diana Jackson, Marilyn Hauser and Colleen Jackson; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grand- children, and 3 great- great-grandchildren. She leaves many other family and friends.
