Dottie Ada Burwell
Dottie Ada Burwell died in Stillwater Friday, Oct. 22, 1937, aged 45 years.
The decedent was born in Joplin, Mo., April 5, 1892, when a small child came with her parents to Payne county and lived on a farm five miles east and five miles north of Stillwater, where she lived until moving to Stillwater.
She was a member of the First Christian church of Stillwater.
Survivors are her mother, Mrs. M.J. Burwell, Stillwater. One sister, Mrs. R.C. Phillips, Stillwater, and three brothers, Walter Burwell, Marceline, Mo.; Samuel C. Burwell, Barber, Ark.; Robert Burwell, Denver Colo.; one niece, Malinda Joan Phillips, Stillwater; one nephew, Julina Phillips, Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be held at the Strode Funeral home at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24. Rev. Lloyd Roach will officiate, assisted by Rev. P.C. Hesser, pastor of Union Home church. Burial will be in Fair Lawn cemetery.
