Annette Marie Rothe Cox left this earth to be with Our Lord on October 4, 2012, after a brief stay at Methodist Hospital and then at Christus Sister Mary Hospice Center with her loving family accompanying her every step of the way.

She was born to Walter O. Rothe and Maude Lucy Hanley Rothe on October 23, 1917 on the family ranch in Medina County. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Horace M. "Mick" Cox Jr., and her brother, Bonnard Rothe.

During the 94 years Our Lord loaned her to her family and many friends here on earth Annette along with husband, Mick, were members of The Orchid Society and grew them as well. They were charter members of the Stardusters Dance Club, charter members of Holy Family Guilds and heavily involved in Catholic Pre-Cana. She took ceramic classes weekly and painted into her ninety's. Last but not least she loved and played "penny-ante" poker weekly with her dear friends until she couldn't see the cards clearly. She was always active in her church and was honored recently as a charter member of the original choir at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Her faith was unwavering.
