Dakota, ILL--Clyde E. Wise, 63, former Buckeye township farmer, died Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in his home at Red Oak. Born Dec. 15, 1886, in Ridott township, he was the son of Jacob and Sarah Wise. In 1909, he was married to Miss Laura Babb. She died in April 1924. On April 26, 1933, he was married to Mrs. Anna Denney. Until a year ago, the couple farmed in Buckey township, returning to Red Oak. Surviving besides his wife are three sons by his first marriage, Merle of Dakota, Willard of Rockford and Lowell of Tarzana, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Jennie Shockey of Freeport, Mrs. May Neuschwander of Dakota, Mrs. Ada Bolger and Mrs. Theodocia Spangler, both of Ridott and Mrs. Ethel Fahr of Momence, Ill.; and nine grandchildren. Three sisters and two brothers died previously. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Red Oak Methodist church. Rev. John Bruce will officiate, assisted by Rev. Robert Wilson. Interment will be in the Dakota cemetery.
