Lloyd Eldon Anderson, 78, of Decatur, IL passed away at 2:25 P.M., surrounded by his family, Saturday, January 28, 2006 in St. Mary's Hospital, due to complications of pneumonia. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 31, 2006 in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
Lloyd was born May 19, 1927 in Bloomington, IL the son of John Earl and Viola Margaret (McCord) Anderson. He attended school in Champaign, IL. He has been a resident of Decatur, IL since 1950.
Surviving are his aunt, Ethel E. Schad; uncle, Robert P. McCord; sister, F. Virginia Anderson; brother, James E. Anderson; and many adoring nieces and nephews of three generations.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Earl W. Anderson and sister, Shirley M. Kiefer.
