Howard Conway Berry, 89, Madisonville, KY, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He was born July 3, 1923 in Huntsville, Alabama, to the late Newton Sylvester and Inez Jefferson Ogden Berry of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Chalmers Berry; his sister, Mildred Frances Berry Marr; and his wife, Eloise Robinson Berry of Madisonville.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, The Kentucky Bar Association, The Louisville Bar Association, and was a registered Professional Engineer. He was a veteran of WWll serving in Northern France and Austria, and also served during The Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Isabel Berry of Madisonville; and two nieces, Patricia Lynn Payne of Green Valley, AZ, and Sandra Jayne Kincade of Edmond, OK.

A celebration of his life will start at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday graveside in Odd Fellows Cemetery where the Hopkins County Honor Guard will perform military rites.
