Beverly A. Overy-Wallace (nee Ruhl), 74, of Hammond, Indiana, died Friday, September 26, 2008 at her home, following a long illness. She was born February 13, 1935 in Strongsville and lived in the Elyria / Grafton area until moving to Hammond in 1965.

Beverly was the owner of Top Line Cleaning Co. in Hammond for many years until retiring in 2007.

She was a member of Northern Baptist Church in Hammond and was an avid Chicago Bears Football and Chicago Cub's Baseball fan, who also enjoyed travel, playing bingo and spending time with family.

Survivors include her husband, David; sons, Craig Overy of Grafton, Terry Overy of LaGrange, Barry Overy of New London and Tracy Overy of Elyria; step-daughter, Donita Wallace of Evanston, Illinois; step-son, David Wallace, Jr. of Hammond, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene Phiefer of Norwalk; brother, John Ruhl of Elyria.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Marian Ruhl; step-daughter, Cindy Wallace; sisters, Sandy LeQuire and Karen Alheit; and a brother, William Ruhl.

Friends may call Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of services at 1 P.M. at the Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, 322-4626. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Amherst.
