MENKER Roger J., age 57 of Wilder, KY, formerly of Dayton, OH, passed away Monday, August 25, 2003. Mr. Menker was born in Dayton, April 15, 1946, a 1964 graduate of Charminade High School, employed for 38 years with NCR and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his father Wilbert. Survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer Menker, Lisa and Jason Helmers; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Trisha; grandchildren Olivia and Jake Helmers and Mattie Menker; mother Hilda; sisters and brother-in-law Irene Gaylor, Mary and Bob Catrow; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vern and Kathie, Gene and Paula; mother of his children, Linda Freppon and numerous other relatives. Prayers 10:30 A.M., Friday at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel', 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Rd. with Mass of Christian Burial 11 A.M. at St. Rita Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 9 A.M. Friday until time of prayers at he funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Newport Central Catholic Scholarship Fund, 13 Carothers Rd., Newport, KY 41071.
