"Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Snowden, West Washington St., have been notified that there son, Corporal Shull Vincent Snowden has been severely burned, and is confined to a hospital at Camp Claiborne, La."

Thursday, May 13, 1943, Daily Mail:

"The body of Shull V. Snowden will arrive in his city on Friday and be taken to A.K. Coffman funeral home, where services will be held Sunday at 4 o'clock. Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery."
