Paula Jean Wood, 46, of Fairview died Friday (Feb. 20, 2009) at Fairmont General Hospital.
Paula was born Nov. 22, 1962, in Anaheim Calif., the daughter of Ruth M. Ball Sigler and the late Lloyd E. Mount.
Paula loved crocheting, camping, gardening and bowling. She was a member of Everson Baptist Church.
Paula is survived by her husband, Terry Wood; three daughters, Angela Marie Tennant and her husband Robert J. of Daybrook, Jamie L. Dickie and Sara Beth Scritchfield and one son, Joseph Patrick Scritchfield, all of Fairview; two brothers, Mike Mount and Richard Mount and his wife Cynthia, all of California; three sisters, Carol Saanvedra and Crystal Greer and her husband Randy, all of California and Virginia Harris and her husband Rod of Washington state; eight grandchildren, Cierra Parker, Breanna Waggoner, Andrew Catsonis, Dillon Tennant, Bridget Wood, Zander Hixenbaugh, Alayna Rutan and Roselyn Tennant.
Friends and family may call at Domico Funeral Home, Curry Chapel in Fairview from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Tennant officiating. Burial will follow at the Benifield cemetery Pumpkin Center, Fairview.
