Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Annie Mae Montet, 93, who died Friday, September 17, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services.

She is survived by three sons, Paul Alton Montet and wife Myrtis of Broussard, Russell Montet and wife Paulette of Kaplan and Donald Montet and wife Judy of Natchitoches; one brother, Nollis Trahan and two sisters, Lelia Comeaux and Eunice Guidry; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous foster children she cared for over a twenty year span.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lolace Montet; father, Jules Trahan; mother, Elise Duhon Trahan and numerous siblings.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
