Roger Davies
(August 12, 1934 - March 30, 2013)

Roger L Davies, formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away March 30, 2013 in Fredericksburg, Texas, at the age of 78. He was born in Beloit ,Wisconsin August 12, 1934 to Eva Andrews Davies and Charles M Davies. He was married July 18, 1959 to Karen Manley, and she survives. He was predeceased by his parents.
He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Platteville. He was an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow and former Scoutmaster of Troop 3 in Terre Haute. He owned and operated Davies Foundry in Terre Haute for several years. He was past president of the 100 Club of Gillespie County in Fredericksburg, a member of Masonic Lodge # 794, Scottish Rite and Zorah Shrine. He was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church. He emjoyed traveling, both in this country and other places such as Austrialia, New Zealand, Iceland, and touring the Amazon River.

Survivors include a daughter, Lucia Hilton, Evansville, In; sons Dwight Davies (wife Adrienne) and Chris Davies (wife Sally) both of Terre Haute, and brother, Robert, Rockton, Illinois; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is pending. His ashes will be scattered on his property near Fredericksburg as he requested.
