Emma Irving, the 8 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Irving (colored) of Oswego, died at the Aurora hospital Aug. 2. She leaves her parents, two sisters, Rachel and Margaret, and five brothers, Glen, Fate, Oliver, Paul, and Robert Irving.
Funeral services were held Aug. 4 from the Croushorn funeral parlors. A colored pastor from Aurora officiated. Burial was in the Cowdrey Cemetery.
