His mother Elizabeth (Samson) Tabler Carpenter is buried in the Ridge Cemetery in Fremont, Dodge County, Nebraska.

On last Thursday evening, Sept. 27, Father Tabler was called to his long home, aged status of years. He has suffered with that dreaded disease consumption. Services were held in the M.E. Church Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. Rainsberger. He was intered in Dexter City Cemetery. The bereaved have the sympathey of the community.Wm. Tabler and family of Middleberg, Dan and family of Parkersburg, Elmer and wife of Summerfield, Charlie of South Olive, Mrs Linche of Steubenville, Wm. Barnes and wife of East Union, were here attending the funeral of there father and brother, Mr. Tabler.W. S. Tabler of Dexter City, died Thursday of last week. Funeral took place Saturday conducted by Rev. Rainsberger. The friends and family have the sympathy of the entire community in there sad bereavement.
