Sara Marie Shields Rhodes Webb, 91, changed her address to Heaven on March 30, 2013, while visiting in Ohio.

Sara was born on a farm in Mahaffey, the daughter of Myrl and Jane Shields. Her home for the past 52 years has been New Jersey.

Sara worked as a waitress many years while raising her four children.

She loved her God, her family and her garden. She attended the Rockaway Reformed Church.
Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Webb; a son, Harry Rhodes of Maryland; and a daughter, Nancy Rhodes Diethorne of Pennsylvania.

She is survived by Joanne Rhodes (Eugene) Wuest of New Jersey; Nettie Jane Rhodes (Steve) Bailey, of Ohio; daughter-in-law Cherylle Rhodes of Maryland; sisters Mary Cramer of Florida and Betty (Laird) Rager of Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Clover Run, Pa. cemetery on Wednesday April 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Gary C. Bailey (her grandson) officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by McCabe Funeral Home of Punxsutawney.
