Mabel Norville, 88, of 519 E. Third Ave. died at 9:50 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 1991, at Community Memorial Hospital in Monmouth.
Born July 22, 1903, in Warren County to Emil Calvin and Edna Pearl Smith Anderson, she married Emmitt Franklin, who later died. She then married Harry Norville, who later died.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Alice Franklin, and one granddaughter.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Loree Crawford of Smithshire; three sons, Richard A. Franklin of Rockford, Robert L. Franklin of Chicago and Willard E. Franklin of Albuquerque, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
Raised and educated in Smithshire, she was of the Methodist faith.
Burial will be in Ellison Cemetery in Smithshire.
