Bryant, Shannon Patrice Simpson – age 37 of Knoxville passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009, at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Herman Ross Hawkins and Dowell Simpson; and cousin, Heath Hawkins. Survived by loving mother, Carol Patterson; father, Joe Simpson; with love, daughter, Shauna Bryant; grandmothers, Thelma Hawkins and Margie Simpson; and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2009, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Seaver officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM Thursday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM interment. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
