Mrs. Mary Allen Atha, 85, of Fayetteville, died today in a local rest home. She was born February 26, 1884 in Madison County, the daughter of Lewis C. and Elizabeth Watson Ledbetter and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are two sons, Lawrence and Arnold, both of Fayetteville; four daughters, Mrs. Fred Smith and Mrs. James Drain, both of Fayetteville, Mrs. David Hodge of Ceres, Calif., and Mrs. Paul Couch of Springdale; one brother, Willie Ledbetter of Buena Park, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Dave Counts of Fayetteville; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Community Buiulding at Dunaway with burial in Dunaway Cemetery under direction of Moore's Chapel.
