Requiem mass for Miss Catherine (sic) Ellen Neff, 302 Market Street, Mechanicsburg, who died on Monday in the Harrisburg Hospital, will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Monday in St. Joseph s Roman Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg. Prayer for the dead and absolution of the body will be given on Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the church with Msgr. George D. Mulcahy as the celebrant. Friends may call tomorrow evening at the Myers Funeral Home, 37 East Main Stret (sic), Mechanicsburg, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

Miss Neff, who was principal of the York Street Elementary School in Mechanicsburg where she taught fourth grade, had taught in the Mechanicsburg schools for 29 years. She had also taught nine years at the Mont Alto Children's Hospital. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and of the Council of Catholic Women.

A native of Hubbard, Ohio, she was a daughter of Mrs. Anna B. Neff, Mechanicsburg, and the late William Neff.

In addition to her mother, she Is survived by a sister, Mrs. George Tomb, Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Clyde and Paul, both of Mechanicsburg, and a niece and a nephew.
